Journalistic Ways to Get Rid of One's Responsability
Recently, two publishers asked me to contribute to a “Peace Book”. Some really wanted “something positive” - a text that would people give courage. Others wanted a text that touches people’s hearts, but please no more than 3,000 characters. A little peace - but please follow the rules of the publisher’s business and the logic of digital capitalism. We want to sell books, we want to make profit with peace. Please touch my heart, but not too much, I love to read peace poems before I fall asleep, it helps my sweet dreams showing up. Keep it short, keep it simple, calm our conscience, we want to be able to say: we too are performing for peace. And on a friday night in a downtown bar, we can pat ourselves on the bag and say: We’re the good guys.
