Michael von der Schulenburg on Europe's moral bankruptcy

A conversation about peace, diplomacy and the question of whether Europe can still save its soul.

He spent 34 years working for the United Nations in war zones and crisis areas: in Sudan, Iraq, Afghanistan, Sierra Leone and Iran.

Today, Michael von der Schulenburg is an independent member of the European Parliament – and looks on in disbelief at the warmongering in Brussels.

He talks about the self-righteousness, loss of touch with reality and moral arrogance of Western elites and warns:

“Europe is the big loser in these wars.”
